Hashu Electronvolt HD-002

In earlier posts, I've talked about the Spaceman watches by Andre Le Marquand. This watch isn't one of them, but the design seems to have been based on that design. It has the same helmet shaped head, and the same three part strap.

The watch seems to be by Hashu  Electronvolt, and is model HD-002. Several other watches can be found on the web under the Hashu Electronvolt range, but there isn't much about the company.

It is an LED illuminated LCD display which shows 4 digits. The module is only basic with time, date, and seconds.

  1. Hi, tried to mail you a few pics, but your account is no longer accepting messages. I came across your great blog a year or two ago when googling a very mysterious but cool pseudo jump hour featuring the name Deadman. It's obviously a knock-off of an older watch called the Saytoko Grand Luxe.
I might have a little info for your Hashu question. I just purchased a Hashu Electronvolt HD-002 looking just like a Catena Spaceman! These are definitely a fine tribute :)

Alongside it was a different, more simple looking Hashu watch complete with a swingtag featuring Tokima/Hashu and a Japanese phone number!

Was Hashu maybe an acquisition of the Tokima group who are better known for their Bandai robot watches? These watches certainly aren't as old as they look, but give off an intriguing vintage style more successfully than many. Hope it helps your search!
