Casio MP-530W Manhattaner's

After starting with the Casio Art Casual watches, I've also been collecting other art watches too.

This watch is another by Casio, but in a different range. The watch is the MP-530W and is an analogue watch using a 394 module.

It is a standard 3 hand dial design, and has both day and date at the 3 o'clock position. The day is dual language, and can be set for both English and Japanese. The crown has a screw lock mechanism, and must be unscrewed before the time can be adjusted.

This particular model is designed by Manhattaner's and has a fire hydrant logo engraved on the back, along with their name and a copyright to NYAG 1990. The face features a colour sketch of an old man in shorts and sunglasses.

Manhattaner's is a Japanese art brand representing the work of Kuge Takashi. Mr Takashi lives in New York and paints images of life there (often with cats).

On the dial there is also a number 701AO-z23 which may be a model code. Not much else is known about these watches (by me at least) as there is limited information online.
