Time Force Surf Ana-Digi watch

Today it's a bright and sporty watch from Japan, but with European roots too.

The watch is by Time Force, and is one of their surf watches (either the watch is called Surf, or they had a line of watches called Surf). The number on the back is what I assume is a model number, and is 9002.

Time Force as a company has many links online which don't seem to refer to one single company, however, that seems to be due to a relocation. Originally, Time Force was based in Switzerland, and had the subtitle/tag-line of Ultimate Concept Watches. At some time around 2000, they relocated to Spain (and appear to have become part of the Valentin Group), and have now become a popular brand for celebrities and sports personalities (Christiano Ronaldo has been spotted wearing them). At this time, the logo was also changed making it look like it's two different entities.

Based on the logo, this is made before the change, and is part of the original Time Force of Switzerland which started in 1991 and made watches in Switzerland and Hong Kong (including for MCM and Bulova). Strangely, the watch also proclaims on the back that this is Italian Design reg.

Overall, it is an ana-digi design with a 3 hand dial, and a 6 digit LCD display in the bottom 1/3. Modes come through the LCD which can show time, alarm, stopwatch, and date/day. The watch design has a decorated bezel, but this doesn't rotate and is for decorative purposes only. The strap is a one piece fabric and velcro strap, and has a rubber Time Force logo sewn on the top section.
