Casio AE-1000W World Time

Second Casio in a row today!
This one is one I found at a flea market, and was attracted to it based on the text across the bottom which seemed to say 'party' (which you can see in the wrist shot).

The reason for the 'party' watch is the fact that the watch can set 4 different  times, each with its own time zone. So party is actually Par (Paris) t4 (time number 4).

The display is an LCD with 4 sections; a time section (6 digit time, day, and date), an LCD dial, a display for whether alarms are on, and a world map showing which time zone is in use. Overall, the LCD display has 248 segments!

It uses a 3198 module which has a massive 4 times, 5 alarms, timer, and stopwatch. The watch is also an illuminator, is 10 bar water resistant, and has a 10 year battery life.

This particular dark grey and black variation is the AE1000W-1BV, and is one of two that seems to have been released. It is still available from the Casio website for $24.95.

The manual can be found here.
