Today's post will only be short as I don't have much info about this watch.
The watch is a mechanical watch with a two hand dial. It uses a white plastic case in a 'squashed' octagonal shape (-it is about 50% wider than it is tall). The case is a reasonable size, but the watch has a thin brown leather strap suggesting it's a women's watch.
Inside is a hand wind mechanical movement with 17 jewels. There are no obvious makers marks on the movement (which can be seen through the transparent back), and it only mentions the number of jewels.
There is a name on the dial in a handwriting font - unfortunately, the handwriting is not very clear. To my eyes, the signature looks like it says Hido Gavette, but this doesn't have any web hits.
