Today's watch seems to be another of the watch brands which look to be high-end European designs, but have a Japanese background.
The watch is by Salvatore Marra which is a Japanese brand that started in 2009. According to their website (which is in Japanese, even though the text on the watch suggests an Italian origin), the brand has "Elegance and provocation," and "the fusion of a sense of international culture of Italy". The brand is owned by Five Star Trading Co. Ltd who are an Osaka based manufacturing and wholesale company specialising in bags, accessories, and watches. They own several (Italian sounding) brand names such as Dolce Medio Italy, Amore Dolce, and Christian Bonheur.
The brand produces relatively affordable watches (around $100), but the build quality and feel is very good.
This model is the SM-6015SS, and is a chronograph model. It is a 3 hand dial design with 3 smaller dials and a date window at the 4 o'clock position. The seconds hand on the main dial is for the chronograph, with the clock seconds being on the bottom dial. The other dials cover 24 hr time and chronograph minutes.
