Today is another of my collection of mysterious brands.
This time it's something called Industrial Design (-i assume based on the name in the centre of the back). The watch is a 3 hand dial design with a quartz movement. It has a square case with a round dials, and raised lumps at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions (with the one at the 3 o'clock position doing a good job of hiding the crown).
I can't find anything about the brand, as Industrial Design is too common a search term. There is a phrase around the back too, saying "always ahead of time", which I guess is the motto of the company. There is also a 'cog' theme to the watch as there is a cog design running around the back, and the 12 o'clock symbol features half a cog as the marker. The strap also has a sort-of cog design with cog-like curved ridges along the case ends of the straps. The loose end also has a curved ridge and this hooks under the strap holder.
As I've found no info on the brand, I'm not sure on the date, but my guess is late 90s or early 00s.
(The reason for the first photo is that my sister laughs at me using my hairy 'gorilla arms', so I used a toy gorilla (or actually an orangutan) for a change).
I have one also, same comp. Different design and i cant find information anywhere. But it looks so familiar like a movie prop. Mine has a CV on back which ive learned is fir collectible vintage and also the always ahead of time saying i cant seem to add pic sorry
